Kevin Steele

Kevin grew up in Miami, where he came to enjoy swimming simply from being around the ocean. As a youth he swam for a year-round team for six years. After moving to North Carolina he swam in high school for Cardinal Gibbons High School. 

Kevin was a lifeguard and swim instructor for three years before joining the BDA team in January 2016. In addition to being an instructor, coach and assistant pool manager with us, Kevin has been our Lead Swim Instructor since the fall of 2019. 

Outside of the pool Kevin enjoys video games and reading comic books. He thinks superheroes are so cool!
